1. Pieniny

Gdynia is the youngest holiday resort of the Tri-city area. There are many restaurants and shops in the modern city center, plenty of nice beaches and wonderful cliffs in Orłowo district. The most interesting parts of the city are Kościuszko square, South Pier and the harbor.

3. The Ostróda-Elbląg Canal

A remarkable engineering achievement, the Ostróda-Elbląg Canal is one of the most scenic waterways in Europe. The canal is 159 km long, including several side branches. The most attractive section is Małdyty-Elbląg, with 5 slipways where boats are carried across dry land on rail-trolleys. It’s an incredible experience.

Leaving the coast, you can continue inland to Malbork, where famous gothic castle is situated. The huge, impressive conctruction was built by Teutonic Knights in 13th century. The castle was inscribed on UNESCO World Heritage List.

5. Wooden churches in Southern Poland

Both Norwegian churches “stavkirke” and wooden churches of the south Poland are the oldest complex of temples in Europe. Some of the churches situated in Małopolska and Podkarpacie regions were listed as UNESCO World Heritage Sites in 2003.
